CANADA NEEDS Jesus CHRIST

CANADA NEEDS Jesus CHRIST

The Revival Starts in the Heart of the People.

Canada once called itself a land of light — a nation whose laws, schools, and families were built on the teachings of Christ. From coast to coast, church bells marked the rhythm of life; scripture was read in classrooms; prayer opened Parliament. We were not perfect, but we were anchored.
Now, the anchors have been cut loose.

The Slow Drift

Over the last seventy years, Canada has drifted from faith to apathy, from reverence to relativism.
In 1951, nearly 96% of Canadians identified as Christian.
By 2021, that number had fallen below 53%.
More than one in three Canadians now claim no religion at all.
Church attendance has collapsed, and so has conviction.

We traded eternal truth for moral trends. We called it progress — but the price has been purpose.
Broken families, hollow politics, numbed souls.
And yet, even now, under the cold quiet of secular comfort, something stirs.
A hunger. A whisper. A call back home.

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
— 2 Chronicles 7:14

The Crisis Beneath the Calm

Canada’s crisis isn’t economic — it’s spiritual.
We built skyscrapers but forgot the cornerstone.
We preach tolerance but have none for truth.
We glorify self and call it freedom — yet depression, addiction, and loneliness are at record highs.

Our culture mocks what our ancestors bled for.
Our schools teach emptiness, our media sells confusion, and our leaders swear by neutrality — when neutrality is nothing but cowardice in disguise.

Without Christ, Canada is a tree without roots, a nation without a compass, a generation without light.

The Hidden Remnant

But not all have bowed to the new idols.
Across small towns and big cities, in the North and the Maritimes, in old barns and rented halls — a remnant is rising.
Men and women rediscovering prayer, scripture, and courage.
Fathers reclaiming leadership.
Mothers fighting for virtue.
Young people choosing purpose over pleasure.

They are not loud, but they are strong.
They are the spark of revival — proof that God never abandons a people, even when they abandon Him.

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
— John 1:5

The Call to Return

Canada doesn’t need another policy — it needs repentance.
It doesn’t need another leader — it needs the Lord.
The revival will not come from Parliament Hill but from the living rooms and kitchens of ordinary Canadians who decide to kneel again before God.

Faith begins not with crowds but with conviction.
When one man repents, his home changes.
When homes change, communities change.
When communities change — a nation rises.

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.”
— Psalm 33:12

The Path Forward

If Canada is to endure, she must return to the Cross.
Every mountain range and frozen field once echoed with hymns of gratitude — that sound can rise again.
The revival won’t look like smoke and fire; it will look like hearts on fire.
It will look like men of courage, women of faith, and children raised in truth.

The question isn’t Can Canada be saved?
The question is Will we kneel before it’s too late?

“Choose you this day whom ye will serve… but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
— Joshua 24:15

The time for silence is over.
The time for revival has come.
Canada needs Christ — and it starts with you.
